Harriet Tubman Definition Of A Hero Essay
What makes a hero? This is the key question to my entire argument because today I am going to be arguing that Harriet Tubman is a hero, but what makes a hero.
Is a hero just a mystery person wearing tights and having super strength, speed, or someone that saves the world every five minutes.According to dicrionary.com their are six different definitions of a hero. The first definition of a hero is a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities.
The second definition of a hero is a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal:
The third definition of a hero is the principal male character in a story, play, film, etc. and the fourth through six definitions of a hero are
Classical Mythology. a being of godlike prowess and beneficence who often came to be honored as a divinity.

Yes she did cause some disruption throughout America when she was doing her work, but she did it for the better of our country and for the better of the people being affected by slavery. Just imagine being a child and watching your parents get beaten with a whip because they did something to anger their owner or just imagine a child getting beaten or their hands cut off as a message to other slaves to not try to rebel or run away or they would kill you. Also Harriet was not this person of arrogance acting like a person that pretends to know what they're going through but really does not. Harriet was not a person fake person to the people that she saved and she did not try to act like this savior and a perfect person to these
