Is marijuana helping you or hurting you? marijuana started in the middle east and Afica. Marijuana is a green or gray mixture of dried, shredded flowers and leaves of the hemp plant. There are two different strains for weed, Indica and Cannabis sativa. Indica is wider and has dark green leaves and mainly used to relax and calm the body, also preferred to be used at night. Sativa is a lighter green with skinny leaves. Sativa is use mainly for mental health. By using sativa will make you feel energic and happy. There is over a million different varieties of cannabis and different color, flavor and strength. It’s estimated that over 162 million people smoke marijuana Annually. People are now beginning to incorporate weed into their food. You can get your fix of THC in gummy worms, browns and it can even be brewed in tea. Marijuana is also used to help women with cramps and discomfort. This might sound good but weeds has a lot of bad effects on your body. One out of the many bad effects of marijuana is a rise in your heart rate which has been known to cause heart attacks. Marijuana can also cause mental problems such as, depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts. Most of the time people use weed to lift their spirits and help them feel happy and carefree. Thus, they won’t have to worries about responsibility’s. Marijuana can also decrease men sperm count. Which lowers the chances of having children. Smoking weed increases your mortality rate by 29%. As a result, you will have a higher risk of dying sooner than most people. Some signs of marijuana intoxication would be odor, such as skunky smell.
