Hard working always gets you somewhere in life even in your academic and athletic career. Hard working is a good trait to have, it teaches you the importance in life and makes you a better person. So, how does this relate to a athletic career? This relates to your athletic career because if you get money handed to and not working hard for that money, you're gonna turn into a mean person, and you're gonna get cocky with that money as well. Some athletes may feel overwhelmed by getting all the money there getting, don't forget some athletes may make, not so smart decisions because they might know what to do with that money, and get to ahead of themselves. While $25,000 may sound like a large amount of money for a college student, but there are many things that money has to cover in order for the athlete to attend college. The average tuition and fees for an in-state four year university is $22,261 per year; which does not include multiple textbooks that cost hundreds of dollars each. What happens to that scholarship if they’re released from a team? How is the athlete supposed to continue paying for college if they’re from a low income family?
