Hair Term Paper
Hair is an important part of everyone’s lives and I wanted to create an opportunity to expose it. The hair industry is just as important in our lives as food, gas, cars, and money. The reason being is that it is an ever growing and ever changing industry, what was great and new is not as hot and the “latest” as it once was. This has led to a demand in styles and supplies.
An ever popular and demanding industry is Hair. The reason why I chose this industry is because it is an ever growing. What I have learned is that women all over the world no matter the color, shape or size, every woman loves and values hair, whether it is hers or someone else’s. I decided that since I am a great consumer of hair and know of the value and quality I would be beneficial to write this paper because hair is my life.
Society dictated that a woman hair was her crown and glory and women all over have been making that statement true. By making saying that since the beginning of time, women have valued hair. They used oils and incensed to make their hair smell good, flowers and ornaments to make it stand out. As time developed women stop doing their hair and let others do it and over time they would develop into beautician and stylist. Women would pour into the shop and let their stylish wash, condition, and dye and style their hair.
Now women sit in salons for hours on hours waiting to be beautified. The price of hair has also increased, women use to pay or barter to get their hair done but now it can cost anywhere from $35.00 to a $1,000. Women put their hair on layaway with a promise to pay later. Women have also incorporated weaves of all types to lengthen, layer or change their style. Weave is someone else’s hair and is either sewn in, glued or fusion to another woman own hair.
Hair is so important that now hair is taught to be a sin in some countries and in order to purify women of vanity the cut their heads bald and to sacrifice their hair to the gods for glory. Now those
