Christianity
Belief- The belief that there is only one almighty god and he is made up by the holy trinity which is the belief that there is 3 people that makes up one god
Stories- in the Christianity religion there is so many stories that tell us as human beings how to live our lives for example of the stories are the story of creation and Noah’s ark all have a moral message that we as humans need to take from it
Sacred texts- the sacred texts for Christianity are the bible that is full of stories and messages for us as humans to take from it
Rituals- 7 sacraments- baptism, confirmation, Eucharist, confession, anointing the sick, marriage, holy orders
Symbols- in this religion there are a lot of symbols that all represent a key term within Christianity for example the pelicansymbolizes the sacrifice of Christ on the cross
Social structure-Pope -> Cardinals -> Bishops -> Monsignors -> Parish Priests->
Religious experience-Christian doctrine generally maintains that God dwells in all Christians and that they can experience God directly through belief in Jesus
Ethics-the main ethics are the 10 commandments. islamic Belief-1: Islam is Monotheistic, that is, it believes in only ONE God.Allah sends Prophets to guide humankind. There have been many prophets one of whom was Jesus and another of whom was Muhammad. Muhammad is also God's last prophet in Islamic belief.
Stories- a story for this religion is the giant ship engine that failed that shows the message that Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort in your life makes all the difference. Knowledge in Islam is highly valued. Knowledge will benefit us in this world and in the hereafter.
Sacred texts There are two main sacred texts in Islam: the Qur'an (or Koran) and the Hadith (or Hadeeth).
The Qur'an is the most sacred text, as it is believed to be the literal word of God as revealed to Muhammad.
The Hadith is a secondary text that records sayings of Muhammad
