Guns Persuasive Speech
Do you think everyone should be able to have guns? Well i believe if you have no records and is not a criminal it shouldn't matter . First shooting is a olympic sport and the united states hold more golds than any competition , and nearly 50 % of households hold guns. I also belive you be should be able to have guns because guns stop burglars and it make people more scared to think about breaking into your house. Guns also make people safe if somebody to to break in or harm them in any kind of way, guns can be dangerous but what about skydiving is you going to band that two?
Guns should be allowed anywhere if weed is not allowed and people can still get it or other drugs. I don't believe it's right if cops can have them and shoot blacks for

On the other hand, gun is actually a useful tool in protecting yourself. Guns may be used to harm thousands of people each year. But I have failed to agree that more guns equal more crimes and fewer guns equal fewer crimes. In fact, research would suggest the exact opposite. If the governor ban guns, that will not stop people from killing. It’s not the gun that kills people. It’s the people that kill people. The crime rate has increased over the past 20 years, and is showing no signs of decreasing. In the next 5 to 10 years crime will continue to rise due to the bad economy and people losing their job.…

I think that American citizen should not be able to own a firearm because many people kill innocent people all the time. Many people kill for violent reason and for no reason. There is a lot of heart aches from all the killing and massacres that people do. The Brady Campaign to prevent gun violence reports that an average of 268 people are shot every day in America. That's 97,820 per year. Maybe, but people with guns kill many, many more people than they would if they didn't have guns, and guns are designed to kill as many people as possible. We don't know if the murderers are suffering from a suicidal depression, but many mass shooters in the past were. And guess what? People suffer from suicidal depression everywhere in the world. People get angry and upset everywhere in the world. The reason is that people in those places who have these impulses have an easy way to access lethal weapons and unlimited ammunition. But if you want to kill large numbers of people and you happen to be an American, you'll find it easy to do.…

We are given the right to bear arms so we should be able to adequately arm ourselves in a fashion that best protects us from today’s modern-day threats. There has already been an attack on U.S. soil lest we forget 9/11. The Boston Marathon bombing, the terrorists running through neighborhoods hiding in perhaps your backyard. The government officials who do not listen to the public voice, militarizing the police force, decides what we can or cannot own. We have seen a lot lately of police brutality, Ferguson MO, and here at home in Cleveland OH, L.A. riots over Rodney King. These examples of civil unrest and governmental backlash are unnerving to me and should be to you. With Uncle Sam flexing its political muscle in Ferguson to disarm the people, is that not a sign of governmental tyranny? De Facto Martial law? How do you protect yourself if in fact one day, and perhaps sooner than you think, there is a new Revolution we face. The government is failing to listen to the people, America is not popular in the world, and there is an underground movement already started against the government. Gun Control is the government’s way to hide the dissarment of the American people and cloak it in the name of violence prevention. Don’t believe that your government would ever turn on you? Neither did Japanese Americans the night after Pearl Harbor when they were rounded up and forced into governmental camps.…

Gun Safety has been a big topic that people are speaking of all the time. The Second Amendment says that citizens have the right to bear arms. That amendment was created for militias as America had become free and they didn’t want any surprise attacks from Britain incase they tried to take America back, now America and Britain are close allies. Everyday on the news there’s always a shooting and maybe it’s because guns are easy to access. I do not think that civilians need guns. Now some might argue that the police are corrupt and that they don’t want to rely on the police to do something that they can handle but that is their job. If guns are banned than their needs to be higher protection against smuggling as criminals will obviously not…

We’ve all seen it in the newspapers- kids accidently killing their family, their friends, or even themselves. A pure, innocent life should not be taken because of the parent’s careless mistake of keeping a gun at easy access for children. In the recent years, this has been becoming a problem, especially for family with youthful kids. Young children should not be taught how to handle guns because they don’t have the understanding that a gun can potentially kill or seriously injure someone, they’re constantly being exposed to violent movies/videogames, and most kids do not know the difference between real and fake guns.…

Are you tired of not being able to go to the store and fear that maybe just one day something terrible might happen? I believe that we should not have the right to own guns. The government should not give citizens the right to obtain firearms not only so we can decrease the crime rates but to make sure the people feel safe. The only way to guarantee safety is to knock firearms out of our population as much as possible.…

Today, we are living in a world where one moment you are laughing, and in a blink of an eye you wind up either dead or in the hospital due to random gun violence. US leads amongst all the developed nations in mass murder due to gun violence and gun abuse. Between 1976 and 2012, most high-income countries did not experience a single shooting. The U.S. witnessed 16 shootings involving 7 or more fatalities, resulting in 241 deaths, more than all the other developed countries combined.…

Gun Control is a huge issue in the United States. It was declared in our constitution in the 2nd amendment that we have the right to bear arms. Every person is entitled through the second amendment to legally own and use fire arms. There are many issues that have come up with gun control: conceal and carry, semi-automatic weapons, and gang violence. Many people in this beautiful country we call the United States, feel like they need to take away the right to bear arms. To me I believe this is wrong. I believe you should be able to legally own and operate a weapon in a safe and secure manner. Anyone that is a law abiding citizen should be able to own a firearm.…

People die every day from natural causes more than gun killing. There were 464,033 total gun deaths between 1999 and 2013: 270,237 suicides (58.2% of total deaths); 174,773 homicides (37.7%)(pro con). We should worry about getting people help then taking away our guns. Guns don't kill people; people kill people(pro con). People are still gonna kill other people, you can't always blame the guns with murder when the criminal is the real one it dont matter what the criminal has he is still gonna kill. The second reason guns should not be permitted to citizens is, their main purpose is to kill. Back when Americans first settled here, guns were a part in how Americans survived. Guns were accustomed to protect Puritans against intruders and animals. The Puritans also believed that killing another was immoral, unless threaten. These beliefs still exist today to an extent, but morals, lifestyles, and times have changed. Today, instead of protecting, guns can be used to enhance criminals' power, giving him the ability to take ones' life. With that being said, guns have only…

If you think that people should have a license to buy a gun, well it think so to because to many people are dying every day. If we don’t do anything about it, it will get worse. Here are some reasons why. Did you know that 16,808,538 guns were sold in 2012. Did you know that 2 million of them are hand guns. That is a lot of guns. Half people dying are between the ages 18-35. There are 30 people dying every day in the U.S. because of guns. People could put an end to this if you had to have a license to own a gun. I think that when you buy a gun they should put your name in a computer to check if you have broke the law or done anything bad or see how many guns you have bought. I think you should only be allowed to own 10 guns…
