Group Evaluation Essay
To complete the group evaluation form several factors were considered to evaluate the overall performance of the group. This consists of determining the contribution of each group member to produce a high-quality final product. In particular, communication between each person needed to be considered as this correlated with the amount of work they provided. Attitude is an additional factor that is very important as the members that had a negative attitude would often avoid doing work which caused them to produce low quality work. Completing this assessment task enabled me to have a deeper understanding of the efficiency of the group by evaluating each member. For instance, I learnt that where there was a lack of communication within the group, …show more content…
However, as I was the first person to begin working on this task, I worked mainly as the leader and problem solver. In conjunction with the other group members, I feel as though I carried out these roles effectively. Particularly during the process of assigning jobs and helping group members to achieve their best, my role as a leader became prominent. I completed an assessment of the positive and negative effects of burying seagrass as a form of removing it from the beach. I also helped others to provide information about their option in great detail and improve the presentation of their work. In my opinion, my contribution to the group was important as I organised the group and ensured that they could reach the deadline. When the group was under an immense amount of stress to submit work, I collected their printing and encouraged them to keep working to create a quality final product. My role as the leader could have been improved by monitoring the progress of each member from the very beginning as we later encountered issues with people not completing work. From this experience, I have learnt that it is crucial to be organised and that I like to take charge of a situation if this is lacking. Although it is more difficult to organise multiple people in comparison with a singular individual, I enjoyed working with others significantly more than completing tasks

Throughout all of the tasks that I took part in, I believe that I performed well in some of them but then in others I could have performed much better. Throughout all of the tasks I believe that I participated as much as possible in order to get the tasks completed, participation was important for the team because of the limited numbers within the team, if I didn’t participate as much as possible then the team may have struggled to complete all of the tasks. I always try to participate as much as possible within all of the tasks, if I don’t then I feel like I have let the team down and could have done better within the task. Another part in which I did well was proposing and developing ideas for the team, when we were given the task I would firstly think to myself about any ideas I may have for the task, then if I believed that one of the ideas was good I would tell the group and find out their opinions on the idea. I was particularly good at developing the ideas of the other team members, when they come up with an idea I would try to think of ways in which It could be improved upon, I believe the team found this helpful because they were struggling to come with more ideas so if I could develop the ideas of the other team members then we would not have to keep up with a lot of new ideas. The final part in which I believe I did well was my communication with the team, throughout all of the tasks I was always talking with the other team members trying to help them through any problems that they were having with their part of the task, communication was key for the whole team so we could understand what each team member was doing and whether they needed help with their part of the task.…

Although Mrs. Marcos’ love for shoes is extreme, it is a very good example of how women love their shoes. Until today in class, the assignment was assigned to reflect back on a group experience, I immediately thought of my friends and how our bond is with one another. Next thing was on my mind was how we even got to know one another. I decided to add another group to the paper to show how I am in each group and to compare them. The second group comes from my recent job. The first type of group I choose to talk about in the reflection on group experience paper is natural. With these new generations of kids, it's important to relate god with them at their youthful years. It's better to start it while they are still young because they are probably the most curious at that time in their lives. It's really nice how every year we get an increase in Huynh Truongs because they are the ones who kids look up to, they are their role models. I still remember the days when I was just a little Thieu Nhi, who didn't care about anything but play games in TNTT. I looked up to these two Nghia Si friends and as time flew by they became Huynh Truongs. It was pretty cool how they began being my Huynh Truongs and they were playing around with me back then but now they are the ones teaching me. I feel like I was able to connect more with God after being able to see them change and grow because of God.…
