Greys Anatomy Character Analysis
Greys anatomy revolves its plotline around the main character and protagonist Meredith Grey who was first introduced as a young intern who is consistently expected to live up to her mother’s legacy. She later fell in love with doctor “McDreamy”, Derek Shepard, who happened to be her boss. Together they ignite the sex, romance and love triangle on the show. Other lovable supporting characters such as Justin Chambers (Alex Karev) Initially cocky and hostile to his co-workers, Jessica Capshaw (Arizona Robbins) "quirky" and "perky" and my personal favorite is "the Nazi", Chandra Wilson (Dr. Miranda Bailey) who played her role superbly. The supporting work is clearly a winner. Each actor and actress that played their part in presenting breath

Over the years, many people have been diagnosed with psychological disorders, whether they were right or wrong. “We have only one story. All novels, all poetry, are built on the never-ending contest in ourselves of good and evil” (Steinbeck 11) and East of Eden is one of the stories, surrounded by good and evil. East of Eden is filled with religious references, and deeply tied to old testament stories, specifically the garden of Eden, and Cain and Abel. These stories shape the characters in the novel, adding depth to their actions and characteristics, and furthering the plot of the novel, by the multiple generations and continuance of each biblical story. The theme of good and evil in East of Eden is in every aspect of the novel, but primarily in characterization. Many of these characters also carry a religious significance, specifically to Old Testament stories, and…

Grey’s Anatomy, a medical drama that has been on air for the past 11 years, is my all-time favorite show. Not only is the plot of the series extremely riveting and tear-jerking, but the characters are all able to relate to an aspect of your life even through your most difficult hardships, especially the protagonist, Meredith Grey. Meredith Grey, is known for her well-roundedness not due to her ability as a surgeon (as she is the head of General Surgery), but because of her willingness to aid others when they’re in times of trouble. This is especially true when it comes to her best friends; Christina Yang, Isabella Stevens, Alex Karev, and George O’Malley; who struggle through deaths, countless failed relationships, and illnesses throughout…

George O’Malley, a beloved surgical resident at Seattle Grace Hospital, planned to join the army as a trauma surgeon. In season five episode twenty-four, the same day he made his decision to join the army, George pushed a pedestrian out of the street and in the process a bus hit and killed him. His death caused an emotional outbreak among fans across the country and devastated his close friend Meredith Grey. George O’Malley’s sudden and dramatic departure from Grey’s Anatomy kept fans interested because it created drama, and that is something viewers of Grey’s Anatomy crave. His death also left a gaping hole in the Seattle Grace Hospital community, and it created a need for viewers to see how Meredith Grey and the rest of the cast would continue without one of the primordial characters. Cristina Yang, a gifted cardiothoracic surgeon, left Seattle Grace Hospital because of an irrefutable offer in Zurich, Switzerland. In season ten episode twenty-four, Cristina made her departure for Zurich with the intention of creating the first functional human heart. Cristina was Meredith Grey’s best friend and yet another primitive character saying goodbye to the show. Cristina Yang’s departure surprised viewers, and they were compelled to keep watching because Meredith Grey’s life was going downhill, and they needed to see if she would finally get her happy ending. The results of analysis of transitivity choice in Fifty Shades of Grey show that Anastasia Steele is represented as character who is physically less active, less affecting, and easily affected by her sexual partner, Christian Grey. In contrasting manner, she is portrayed as a highly conscious, rational, and impassive entity who is less emotional and aware of what happens to her. These results illustrate and simultaneously reflect the story in the novel, which portrays Ana as a paradoxical character. She embodies ambivalence between the state of being physically subordinated and mentally powerful. The fact that she is not an emotional person conceives impression that she deliberately subjugates her position.…
