Green Bay Packers: Football Hall Of Fame
Some of the best players for the Green Bay Packers are Jim Taylor, Reggie White,

Aaron Rodgers, Eddie Lacy, and Clay Matthews. All these players have one thing in common.

They are the greats of the Green Bay Packers. All of these players are the best players on the

team, and some were/are the captain. If you say these names to somebody who knows football,

they will know who you are talking about and will know how they were/are the greats of the

Packers. Two of these players were even inducted into the Football Hall of Fame.

Reggie White is One of the best Packers, actually he is one of the best football players

in general. Reggie was born in 1961 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In high school he played

football at Howard High School

Reggie

White didn’t start playing for the Packers until 1993. Reggie has received multiple awards

throughout his whole football career, such as the AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award.

Reggie only played for the Packers for five years, but he made a name for himself and as you

could see it got him into the Football Hall of Fame. Reggie White sadly died on December 26,

2004, but his name will live on in football for a long time to come.

Jim Taylor was a fullback for the Green Bay Packers, and one of the best fullbacks to

play for the Packers, even one of the best fullbacks to play football. Jim was born in 1935 in

Baton Rouge, LA. He started playing football at a young age. He went to Baton Rouge High,

and when he got to college he really started to break out into a great fullback. Jim went to

Louisiana State University(LSU). He was drafted in the second round, fifteenth overall in 1958.

Jim was one of the best fullbacks that played for the Green Bay Packers.

Aaron Rodgers is in the top three quarterbacks that play football right now. He plays for

the Packers right now and is the best player on the team, not just because he is

Some say he might even go into the Hall of Fame. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Another great player for the Green Bay Packers is Eddie Lacy. Eddie

lacy is one of the best running backs Green Bay has ever had, says

some people. Eddie was born in 1990 in Gretna, LA. Eddie went to

college at The University of Alabama. Eddie has only been playing in the NFL for two

years. He was the drafted by the Packers in 2013. He was the 29th pick and the 61st

overall. Eddie is an amazing running back as it is now, but he will be even more amazing

in about 5 years, just watch.

Clay

Matthews. Clay

Matthews. Let that

name sink in a little bit. What do you think of when you hear that name? Maybe one of the best

linebackers to play for the Green Bay Packers? A hard hitter? Well he’s all of those! Clay was

born in 1986. He was born in Northridge, Los Angeles, CA. He went to high school in Agoura

High School in Agoura Hills, California. When he got out of high school he went to college at the

University of Southern California. He was drafted in 2009 by the Green Bay Packers. He is still

playing for the Packers so that means he’s been playing football and been playing football for

the Green Bay Packers for 6

Ramaine Duffus 10/09/2013 Lebron James vs. Michael Jordan Everyone always wondered who the better basketball is Player the legend the Michael Jordan or the phenom Lebron James’s am a fan of both I am merely presenting the facts and little Bit of my opinion and I will allow you to draw your own conclusion as to who the better player is. Keep in mind Lebron and Jordan play two completely different positions meaning during a basketball game their roles vary example lebrons position is the small forward playing that position means the you are required to do a little bit of everything small forward is the middle position they are required to score assist and rebound at a good rate .Shooting guard the position played by Michael Jordan are still required to assist and rebound but are mainly responsible for carrying most of the scoring load . The story of Michael Jordan is a story of hard work and the will to win.…

There may never be a better description of the man named Mike Ditka than that of his childhood friend, Dan Britza: “His temper is legendary, his intensity is legendary, he is the ultimate motivator, he is the ultimate passionate man” (NFL Network, 2011). Ditka, better known as Iron Mike or Da Coach, has lived a life completely engrossed in football. He was a superbowl champion as a player in 1963 with the Chicago Bears; a superbowl champion as an assistant coach for the Dallas Cowboys in 1977; and a superbowl champion as the head coach for Chicago in 1985. Ditka’s work ethic and unwillingness to accept failure led him to become a top college prospect at the University of Pittsburgh, the eventual first round draft pick of the Chicago Bears in 1961, and was the first tight end ever to be elected into the pro football hall of fame. As a Coach, Mike Ditka 's style reflected the way he played the game; with reckless abandon and a ferociousness unmatched.…

    Case Study On Dickerson

    • 116 Words
    • 1 Page

Dickerson is a four-year senior and plays what NU calls the superback position. It’s a hybrid fullback/tight end role. Dickerson has appeared in 42 games for NU during his career, recording 71 receptions for 717 yards and 6 touchdowns. Dickerson is used as a blocking fullback, rarely running the ball himself. Dickerson is a solid college player, due to his size, but he does not have the speed or hands to be a tight end at the next level. Dickerson could be a fullback prospect at the next level, but has not shown the tools to be a reliable lead blocker in the NFL. There are better FB prospects for this year’s Senior Bowl as well.…

At 20, he was one of the youngest players eligible for the draft and a little undersized, but his speed, remarkable playmaking ability and a profound level of toughness more than made up for it. Players on the offensive line are responsible for carrying the ball on running plays, which are the plays that scores points. The quarterback is the most visible player on the team and is relied on by his team for executing the best plays for where the ball must be hiked. This position is the most important but yet difficult to master because of the skills and expertise it takes in order to move the ball along the field. This player must be tall, have good legs, and excellent arm strength. Most times quarterbacks are also captains of their teams and are required to be leaders; they are also the highest paid players in the game. Another player who is called a center is the player who snaps the ball to the quarterback, and is most demanding because all eyes are on the center and he’s mainly the first to be attacked by the opponent’s defensive players. A center must also determine whether or not a play is accurate before snapping the ball because he has to get the ball to the quarterback. (“Whose Job is the Toughest?” 1)…

Even after having a great two years in college he went undrafted in the 2010 NFL Draft. He was signed the day after the draft was over by the New York Giants. In 2010, he played his first game with the New York Giants. It was the preseason game verses the New York Jets. After playing that game very well, he was rewarded the Giants’ 53-man. That means he made the final cut and he can play that year. He pulled a hamstring during practice before the first game of the season but still played the first five games. He played horribly and was put on injury reserve for the rest of the season. 2011 was a better year for him. He began the season as the Giants forth wide receiver. Cruz proved himself to everyone during the game against the Eagles. He made two touchdowns winning the game. He also made a one-handed 68-yard touchdown reception in the game against the Seahawks. Cruz tied the NFL record with a 99-yard touchdown return. He helped the Giants win the NFC title game against the 49ers with 20 catches…
