Graphic Elements of March : Book Three Graphic elements are used to add meaning to the graphic novel such as March: Book Three by John Lewis, Andrew Aydin, Nate Powell. Graphic elements help the story to have a better meaning. One graphic elements are hands and feet action to tell the story. Another graphic elements are background colors that shows the significance of the story. Powell uses hands,feet, and background colors to tell the story. The panels have black background, which shows Lewis might be taking to jail(187). This shows how Lewis knew that he might be getting arrested and was getting prepared to go to jail.
