Grapes Of Wrath Argumentative Essay
Most people go on a pilgrimage to have a better life. They search for happiness, success, a new life. They want to set these new plans and goals to reach what they yearn for. They have dreams. Part of having a better life is pursuing the dreams you have. The "Grapes of Wrath" , "Into the Wild", and my family were all trying to pursue a dream that they lounged for while on a pilgrimage to someplace new. In "Grapes of Wrath" they had dreams of moving to California to get job that could set up a new life for them and help support having a home. They did everything that they could do to push themselves no matter how hard it would get. They knew that getting to California would be a struggle. They got as much as money that they could loaded …show more content…
Once the move became final they found places to work at.they started with a job like passing out the daily newspapers to get any money that they could to buy a home for the family. Living with our relatives began to get very hard. The small over crowded little home soon became chaotic. Full of arguing and children's tantrums and a big struggle my parents still held on tightly to this dream. Soon months began to pass like what seemed to be minutes as my parents got closer to fulfilling this dream. Then the day came that they had finally reached this dream. We all began to settle in and in the midst of that my parents were proud knowing that they have what it takes to fulfil dreams for the family's future. These 3 examples you go to see was just a glimpse of the ways people pilgrimage for a better life, a pilgrimage for happiness and mostly a pilgrimage for their dreams. People all around the world pilgrimage for all kinds of reasons to this day. Places all around the world people try to pilgrimage to evade the war and horrid ways of livings to pursue dreams of religion, dreams of success , dreams of travel and dreams of having a beneficial life.
