Come on vamaños everybody lets go! I believe that the cartoon Dora The Explorer is one of the cartoons that more children should watch. The cartoon is very educational to children. The show teaches them information that they can use in the future such as another language. Dora The Explorer teaches children Spanish through the cartoon. I am going to explain to you three reasons I believe every child should watch Dora. There are many benefits of being bilingual, learning another culture, and communication in another language. There are long term benefits of being bilingual is that there are better job opportunities increasing the pay. Being bilingual will help you be able to help others. When allowing your child to watch Dora, watch it with him/her and you will see the benefits of it. Dora teaches them manners, colors, foods, conversation starters and so much more. Your child will be able to talk respectably in another language and help translate for others when they are struggling or need more help. Your child will be able to help teach others Spanish as a second language. Watching Dora The Explorer not only teaches children a second language, but it also teaches them the Spanish culture, such as holidays, traditions, and other celebrations. Dora The Explorer is more than just a cartoon it also serves to educate. The cartoon is educational because it teaches diversity at a young age. Children grow up and can have the ability to teach Spanish to their own families and children and introduce the Latin culture into their homes and everyday lifestyle. Speaking another language such as Spanish, helps you to communicate with others. Many people speak English as a second language and some speak Spanish as a first language. Communication is a huge key to success in today’s economy. I believe that the more generations to come should be more bilingual and able to communicate with others by teaching and helping them communicate. In conclusion, I believe that children should watch the cartoon Dora The Explorer that is televised on Nick Jr. The cartoon teaches them so much, such as the examples I have explained and prepares the children for preschool. There can be no doubt that this is something the newest generation of the world’s children need to learn, as they are growing up in a world where so many people are blinded by where someone is from that they can never seem to see who that person is.
