When she was a few days old, she was dropped on the doorstep of an orphanage in China. Lynch remained in China for a year and a half, until she was adopted by her family here in the United States. She has two older siblings who were also adopted. But what people do not know on her interior, they know on her exterior. Tori Baggio and Lynch have been friends for many years. Both do choir, and have been in countless classes together. When asked about one characteristic that describes Lynch, Baggio said, “She is dependable. We have never been best friends, but we have always known each other, and we can always have fun together, and I know if I ever need anything Grace will always be there.” Though not a Renaissance woman, Lynch takes many AP classes, and does well in the majority of them, all except for one. She loves Spanish, but she has Doctora "Zobler and she gives [her] crippling anxiety." Tim Sullivan, another senior at the high school, says that if Lynch were to create a class, it would be "how to win an argument. There would be a mix between real life situations and then hypothetical situations, and the kids in the class would have to argue with each other and try to win the argument.” Sullivan claims that this is much like a normal conversation with Lynch.
