Demetrius then stated, “I try to hide in my room, that he does not get that much time with his mother, and that Adam hogs Evelina attention”. Demetrius later states he wishes that they would go on vacation with the family without Adam. I watched as Demetrius and Meya ate dinner alone at the dinner table.

Robert the father and husband of the family walked in the front door. It is stated that Robert needs 15 minutes of transition time after he gets home from work. It was stated that the three kids Demetrius, Adam, and Meya can not talk to their father or approach him during the first 15 minutes Robert is home.

Evelina told the Demetrius, Adam, and Meya to calm down because it was a mad house.
The mother Evelina was cooking dinner, washing the dishes, folding laundry while her husband Robert sat on the couch. Eveilna tried to hand over Adam to Robert. Adam then hit and pinched his father Robert until he let Adam down. Adam then ran back to his mother. Evelina said it was time to go back to sleep to Demetrius and Meya and off to bed they went. According to Soloveitchik there are two Adams in Genesis, one for each account of the creation of the earth. And these two Adams are representative of two aspects of the human character. Adam I and Adam II are each archetypes that teach a lesson to the readers of Genesis, which, according to Soloveitchik, is why they are both included in the Bible. Carrying Soloveitchik’s approach to reading Genesis to the rest of the book and applying his Archetype theory to other characters in the scripture yields a very interesting take on the stories of the Bible.…

The father seems to be a very impatient and self-concerning man. Although it is six in the morning, he doesn’t care his son isn’t dressed properly. He also tries to rush the child and woman out as quickly as possible so he can go back to sleep. Flannery writes, “He went to the door and [opens] it wide and [waits].” The man clearly wants the two to leave and continually tries to get rid of them but the lady keeps talking. When the man asks what time the child will be back, she doesn’t give a specific time but the man doesn’t seem to mind. Most parents would like to know the exact time and where they’re going.…

The story of Adam and Eve is one of the most culturally important and known stories in the Bible regarding the origin of mankind. It’s generally followed by Judeo-Christians but is also grasped by other religious views, though many tend to overlook minor key details that may alter the whole interpretation. First, God created a man named Adam to primarily tend to the garden he planted in Eden. There were many trees in the garden that happened to contain two special types of trees. God allowed Adam to eat from any tree he wished, except from one specific tree. Then, God created a woman to accompany Adam who automatically became his wife. The woman came across a serpent she claimed to have deceived her. In actuality, the serpent simply told her a fact that is later proven correct with the help of her temptation. After Adam and the woman both consumed fruit from the forbidden tree, they realized that they were naked and tried to hide from God. God came to find that Adam and the woman ate from the forbidden tree because they suddenly were full of knowledge. God punished the serpent, Adam, and the woman for their disobedience. He then banished them not as another punishment but to help them avoid temptation again. Within the controversial context of the story lie theoretical themes that can be analyzed by existentialism and the Post-Freudian psychoanalytic theory of eros, thanatos, and the Oedipal Conflict. The story can be viewed using the Oedipal Conflict as God plays the role of both the mother and father figure while Adam and Eve play the role of the rebellious children. Along with this conflict, the characters of the story demonstrate existentialism qualities and carry out actions that they are either eros or thanatos.…

Upon speaking with Demetrius, Lysander, Helena, and Hermia, we have discovered the strange adventure of the days leading up to their marriage. Both couples had very interesting stories to tell. To start, Hermia’s father Egeus was forcing Hermia to marry Demetrius. Demetrius is very accepting of this situation, even though he just got out of a relationship with Hermia’s friend Helena. Demetrius is also aware that Hermia doesn’t love him but Helena does. When we asked Hermia how she replied to her father’s demand she said, “But I beseech your grace that I may know The worst that may befall me in this case, If I refuse to wed Demetrius.” Clearly she was against this decision, and that is why she and her lover Lysander decided to run away from…
