Good Morning Judy Case Study
Good Morning Judy,
To answer your question, he had grammar issues (incorrect use of Subject – Verb Agreement, prepositions, and determiner), inappropriate use of punctuation in complex sentences, several misspelled words, and improper use of word choices to enhance his writing style.

This instance partly gave me insights as to why J.V. continuously came to our appointment unprepared in the anticipation that I would give him additional resources and time to do his assignment. In addition to coming unprepared, J.V. has often not show up for his appointments,

At Cacciutti Veteran Educational Foundation, our belief is that our discharged veterans deserve added consideration when obtaining gainful education and employment opportunities to be able to support themselves, along with proper medical care, both physical and psychological, to help the veteran assimilate into civilian life. Cacciutti Veteran Educational Foundation has noticed the lack of capable, skilled workers to take over for those who are exiting their respective fields, along with the rising unemployment rate and psychological problems of returning combat veterans like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as the problems that even non-combat veterans have assimilating back into civilian society. So Cacciutti Veteran Educational…

The US Army is a unique organization providing protection to a nation. I agree with you about it being in the maturity stage for naturally, it has no competitors! So, all its resources are geared towards providing the best for the country. In matters of beuracracy, it is common knowledge that the Army is top-heavy and characterized by a lot of "red-tape" in its vast operations. Albeit, the Army is non-profit, its dependency on taxpayers is interesting since they are the major benefactors of military operations(not forgetting PMCs). I also compare the US Army with other armies to qualify its maturity stage. A good example is the Soviet Army which was at the height of its maturity during the Cold War and the its subsequent death…

As a result, many veterans don’t seek the help they need just so they can keep their jobs. In an attempt to combat the high unemployment rates among veterans, the government has created programs that help find jobs for the retired soldiers. Since the creation of these programs, “More federal agencies, corporations and nonprofit organizations joined the hiring effort and sought veterans for employment” (“Veteran Unemployment”). However, these job opportunities created for veterans are not always the best. There may be many jobs being created, ‘but too many of those are dead-end jobs” (Despite). In fact, many of the positions offered are minimum wage jobs. While America may be getting better, unemployment and underemployment is still a serious problem faced by veterans, especially those who face various mental…

His judgmental tone can be seen on many places in his essay through his choices of words. He used “long and windy” when he described a quote of “Why Women Can’t Have It All.” He also used the word “paleolithic” when he described the people who think that the man who takes six weeks of paid leave for new fathers is “acting like a women.” His logical fallacies can be also seen when he tries to make an argument or a point. His first logical fallacies was sentimental appeal. The way he used it was by describing a baby with “… ten fuzzy fingers and ten fuzzy toes and a tiny crescent-moon mouth…”(697). He used the baby description to get the attention of the readers and makes them agree with his argument that men and women are equal. Then he used the appeal to false authority when he said that “[two] men wrote that, incidentally, which must make it true, and among those who traffic in gender studies, it is something of a truth…”(701). It can be noticed that he tries to convince the readers by saying that because two people said that statement then it must be true. Also, he used a hasty generalization by saying that “…men are lazy and/or have a higher threshold for living in filth…”(705). He said that men are lazy which is a wrong generalization, and there is not a real study that shows that men are lazy. Then Dorment used a Bandwagon appeal example by…
