Good And Bad Gods In Homer's The Odyssey
The world can be filled with people who choose to either affect people’s lives in a positive or negative way. In the epic poem “The Odyssey” by Homer, there are many examples of good and bad gods. Athena, Circe and Poseidon, all share the trait of helping or hurting Odysseus. This is an easy way to explain the differences of some of the gods and how they affect Odysseus’ voyage in a positive or negative way.
Of course, Athena plays a large and needed role in the Odyssey as a goddess who stays by Odysseus’s side through it all. She is a gorgeous goddess who is kind enough to have a soft spot for curious and clever Odysseus. She gave him wisdom and strength for the many obstacles that he faced during his long 20 years on the sea.Athena is
