Goal Essay
There are many goals in my life that I would love to achieve. In your life you must set short term goals as well as intermediate and long term goals for yourself. The reason for setting goals is to make sure that you don't fall behind in life and you achieve your dreams. As a 17 year old I have a lot already planned out so I will soon see how close I follow my goals.
My short term goal is to go to Wayne State University. I will do this by completing the on line application before May 21st and paying the $30 application fee. I will also talk to my counselor about sending the college my high school transcript and ACT scores. After being accepted, my next step is taking the three placement exams. I need to take a Math, Science, and English exam so Wayne State knows what classes to place me in. My next step is to register for their new student orientation. After I register, I will visit the campus on the orientation day of my choice and register for classes. If I do all of these steps I will be going to the University in the Fall. I want to go to this college because my dream is to become a Nurse Anesthetist and they offer a great program for this career choice.

My long term goal is to earn my PhD in Management. This is something I've always thought of and I intend on making that goal a reality. In order to achieve this goal I will receive my Bachelors Degree in Management followed by an MBA. A bachelor degree is very important to me because that bachelor degree, along with a Masters in Business Association, is a stepping stone to getting my PhD in Management. Once I receive a PhD, I believe that I will be able to bypass the mid level management area, and go straight into upper mid level management.
These goals are all completely attainable as long as I keep focused and keep an updated version of my goals. Once I begin attaining my short-term goals I can start marking them off my list. As time goes on I continue to set goals
