Gm520 Week 2 Assignment Tamplate
Week 2 Homework Help – GM520.
Here is an example to get you started on the Week 2 Homework:
1. State the administrative agency which controls the regulation. Explain why this agency and your proposed regulation interests you (briefly). Will this proposed regulation affect you or the business in which you are working? If so, how? Submit a copy of the proposed regulation along with your responses to these five questions. The proposed regulation can be submitted as either a separate Word document (.doc) or Adobe file (.pdf). This means you will submit two attachments to the Week 2 Dropbox: (1) a Word doc with the questions and your answers and (2) a copy of the proposed regulation you used for this assignment. (10 points)
Illinois Department of Regulation – I am a hunter so this interests me and will impact me with the new deer hunting regulations.
This will affect me peripherally as the cost of the permits have increased.
2. Describe the proposal/change. (10 points)
The proposal increases the fee for late season deer permits and repeals the “group hunting” permit.
3. Write the public comment which you would submit to this proposal. If the proposed regulation deadline has already passed, write the comment you would have submitted. Explain briefly what you wish to accomplish with your comment. (10 points)
My comment is that group hunts were beneficial to the family who hunts together and I’m not sure why they are being repealed. Further, hunting is expensive and a set of permits for a family of 6 is now $105, instead of $90. Hunting deer is a benefit to the state of IL as there are over 45,000 car accidents due to deer and hunting is the only control mechanism the state uses.
I wish to have them reconsider this new rule.
4. Provide the "deadline" by which the public comment must be made. (If the date has already passed, please provide when the deadline was). (5 points)
This expires on 10/2/10.
5. a. Once you have submitted your comment, what will you be

The "public comment" period closes on an OSHA proposed regulation, and your business had filed a public comment against the proposed regulation explaining that the regulation would not fix the problem that OSHA was trying to remedy, that the regulation would cost more than the problem itself, and that the regulation was a tax, not a safety change. The problem with offering money is that some ranchers have accepted it, but used that money to pay hunters to kill as many wolves as possible (nytimes, 2011). Ranchers do not believe that it is necessary to keep wolf populations as high as they are (nytimes, 2011). The fourth article discussed how the court was going to uphold Congress’s act to remove the wolf from the endangered species list (latimes, 2012). The main viewpoints are the agencies that support Congress’s decision to take the wolf off the list versus the environmental groups (latimes, 2012). The environmental groups were arguing that the rider that Congress issued in 2011 was a violation of the separation of powers doctrine (latimes, 2012). However, it was revealed that the separation of powers doctrine was not violated and that states should still get the rights to determine wolf population numbers (latimes, 2012). In the fifth article, state governments versus environmental groups are the main viewpoints (nytimes, 2013). State governments believe that they are the most competent to make decisions about the future of wolves (nytimes, 2013). Reports indicate that wolf populations remain…

One way to improve population is to start raising deer on farms and then taking them out and turning them lose in the wild. When hunting comes close to being taken away the price of hunting license will go up. After the price of deer hunting license goes up, hunting privileges will be taken away for a year or two in order to let the population of animals rise again. This would stop the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife from having to take hunting rights away and would help to raise the population of deer back up all at the same…

The gun control law was passed and gun owners gave up 643 726 prohibited firearms that costed the government over $320 million. Around 50 000 additional guns were handed in. The law stated that a person was only allowed a gun with a legitimate reason. Self defence was not a legitimate reason. A gun licence was usually given to farmers, hunters and gun sportsmen. His theory was that if a whole town or city had guns it would become less safe than if the town or city had no guns.…
