Over the past couple of decades there has been an increase in the carbon footprint. There have been a couple attempts to improve the climate change, but the heat just keeps rising. On June 1, 2017, president Donald J. Trump, announced he would pull out of the Paris Agreement, claiming it was "unfair at the highest level to the United States."(2017) Unfortunately for our nation, climate is still going up, and what little protection exists is fading.The US should rejoin the Paris agreement and take some steps to slow climate change.
