Chapter 3 Research Methodology This chapter describes the research methodology in this study. The geographical area where the study is being conduct, the research design, the population and sample, the research instrument to be used to collect data, including methods implemented will be described.

Research design The researchers will use the descriptive method of research in gathering information. This involved the data collection from the respondents to state their opinion about customer satisfaction. Descriptive method of research attempts to document or describe opinions to yield description but not necessarily causal explanations. According to Gay (1992), “Descriptive research involves collecting data in order to test hypotheses or to answer questions concerning the current status of the subjects of the study.” Survey questionnaires will used in this study because they were more convenient for the participants to answer and for the researchers to interpret the respondent’s results.

Research Method
Quantitative research method will be used in this study. Quantitative research method involves the use of structured questions where the response options have been predetermined and a large number of respondents are involved. The measurement must be objective, quantitative and statistically valid. Quantitative research is about numbers, objective hard data. The reason for choosing quantitative research approach is because it is the fastest way to receive respondents’ answers and also to be able to present the results of the research by using figures and in writing. Measuring the answers would be quite easy since alternatives were given for the respondent to choose their answers.

Research Setting
The study will be conducted at Republic of Cavite Restaurant, located at Trece
