George Orwell's Animal Farm
When Comparing Niemoller’s cautionary poem with Orwell’s allegorical story of the Manor Farm. The tactics of Hitler and the animals in Animal Farm were quite similar. In the beginning of the “Animal Farm” story, the pig Old Major called a meeting with the other animals of the farm and told them about a dream he had. His dream that the all the animals could live free and all would be equal. This is basically what Hitler did. He was able talk the talk that got everyone believing in him until the realization set in. As Old Major gave the speech that convinced the other animals that they were being used by the humans and that the humans should be overthrown, as with Hitler, was able to form a group of followers who believed everything he said
