Comparison of today's life with the past period of our life
Life is a name of a struggle between the good and the evil. We should know in our life that what is the wrong way of our life and what is the right way of our life. We say ourselves Muslims but our whole life is against the commandments of the Almighty Allah. Now a days we sleep late at night but against it a true Muslim sleeps early at night. He does not waste its time in idle talks. He offers the Isha prayers in time; he recites the Holy Quran and understand its meaning. An Ideal family in view of teachings of Islam always thinks obedient slaves in all walks of their life. Against it we have no any timetable to pass our daily life. A true Muslim has aim of his life, which is the obedience of the almighty Allah in all walks of his life.
Now a day in real meanings we cannot say ourselves a true Muslim because our whole life is against the teachings of Islam. We do not learn Arabic which is the language of the holy Quran. Urdu is our national language but it has not been adopted as an official language of Pakistan. Inspite of it in the constitution of Pakistan 1957 it was decided the Urdu will be Enforced as a national language after 15 years. 55 years have passed and during this period we did not care to act upon the constitution of Pakistan. English is a foreign language of British which shows it we are still slaves of British's and we have not achieved freedom up till now.
The alphabets of Urdu and Arabic are the same except few letters. Arabic language can be learnt through Urdu. There is no need to learn sindhi language as it is a local language and there is no need to remain as a compulsory subject.
We are far behind from the other nation to prevail literacy in our country according to the Islamic teachings it is compulsory for every Muslim man and women to learn knowledge. Instead of it we give preference to the English language from primary stage.
If we want to change ourselves as a true

Islam also gave men an identity by which to define themselves in regard to others. Like all men, Muslims lived at different levels. They did not think of Judgment and Heaven all the time. Beyond their individual existence, they defined themselves for most daily purposes in terms of the family or broader kinship group, the herding unit or tribe, the village or rural district, or the quarter or city. Beyond these, however, they were aware of belonging to something broader: the community of believers.…

The summer of 2008 was when my family and I decided to take a trip to Karachi, Pakistan. I’ve always wanted to visit my parents’ hometown so I could experience how they grew up. Out of the five members of my family, I was the only one born in the United States and I also started the beginning of grade school in America. My two older sisters came to America at a fairly young age. They had also come just in time to start grade school in America so my sisters were also much Americanized. They were raised in America and also spent most of their childhood in the United States. We have a common language we use at home. Urdu is the language in which my parents were raised into in their families in Pakistan. My sisters and I always talked to my parents in Urdu and also when we went to church. Besides that we mostly spoke English with our friends and society in general so our Urdu was much more modern. In the year 2008, we decided to travel to Pakistan so I could experience how my…

Education is a universal, fundamental human right, recognized by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and reaffirmed in international human rights conventions. In this era of technology, advancement and globalization, education is the key to success and peace. Education is considered as the cheapest defense of a nation. But the worst condition of education in Pakistan reflects the fact that it is unable to defend its own sector. Though 62 years have passed and 23 policies and action plans have been introduced yet the educational sector is waiting for an effective educational reforms. With respect to Human Development Index, Pakistan has been placed by UNDP at 136th position, lower than some of its regional neighbors like Sri Lanka, Maldives, India and Myanmar mainly due to its low literacy rate and low primary level enrolment. In different reports the Ministry of Education claimed that literacy in Pakistan is over 50%, but open sources disagree with it and they say that it is merely 35%. Ratio of budget indicates the level of importance given by a nation to the education. Historically, Pakistan has been spending less on education, as compared to other countries in the region. Pakistan spends less than 2% of its GDP on education which is less than Iran, India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Maldives the neighboring countries of Pakistan, the world standard stands at 5% of the GDP. With such non serious attitude towards Education, there remains a dearth of well educated and skillful individuals. Among the SAARC Nations, Pakistan is at the sixth and at the 159th position among the 174 World countries.…

I believe that westerners wanted to search the purpose of this life after they fill empty in their life although they had already achieved what they want. It was clear that westerners need the strong support in this life, so they end up by search something that suitable with their heart. Most of westerners find out that Islam as a religion that can fulfill what they search in this life. In my opinion, Islam has a way of living that more manageable, as an example in Islam there is way to communicate nicely with family, community and animals. This is shows that how details Islam when deal with lifestyle as a human. I felt that the westerners do not get complete direction to refer as a guide in this life. I can see that relationship among westerners family when compare with Muslims family. In Islam, mothers and fathers will often sleep with their young child to make sure that they grow up with loved and secure. Of course there are a lot of different with westerner family; mothers and fathers frequently do not sleep with their young child since they are born. From my point of view, although this is just small matter, but it is give big impact to children to respect their parents as a discipline. Since born the westerners do not put family as the first priority in this…

    I. Foreword Pakistan is a country where religion – here Islam – plays an imminent role. More then 98% of its population belong to one of the Sunnite or Shia sects. 2 Important to know is also that more then 60% of its population is illiterate. Also out of the Mullahs, the religious leaders, many are not able to read or write! They just now a little of the Holy Qur’an by hearth and that is enough to play an important role in the village which can not be challenged by an ordinary man or woman because of lack of knowledge. Once the Islamic prayer “Rabbe sidni ilma” (God give me knowledge) was embedded in the thinking of the society. Today it seems that religion and politics are misused in Pakistan to keep the people shut their mouths. Since the take-over by the military dictator Zia ul Haq in 1977, the rate of illiteracy has risen. Also governments which were voted for after 1988 through the Pakistani voters were not able or willing to improve this situation. Even when Benazir Bhutto, the daughter of Zulifkar Ali Bhutto who was hanged by Zia, was Premier Minister, nothing changed to the positive in this matter – although she promised to do something and many women had put their trust and hope in her! One achievement of culture is its literature. Books play an important part in culture! Not only are they written records of the history of a nation but also give on traditions to the next generation. School textbooks are therefore a very powerful tool to give on information which form the children in their thinking and in their (future) behaviour. “Since 1988, Aurat Foundation [Aurat = Women], with the collaboration of UNICEF, has been working on textbooks from the perspective of portrayal of women.” 3 Ruquia Jafri worked on this topic and published the result of her analysis in “Gender Bias in Pakistani School Textbooks” which was updated in September 1994. She pointed out that…
