GenSys
The book is about a firm called 'GenSys' which does illegal and abnormal experiments on a small island off the coast of Boto. The story is all about a biotechnology plant that takes the research of animals to a completely new level, between man and animals. These experiments have been given the name Bonobo's, a breed of human and ape. 'GenSys' plans on using the Bonobo's for human organ transplants making them more available, especially to people who are willing to pay a lot of money. However, a single mistake could bridge the evolutionary gap between ape and man. Then there is a body found with missing head, hands, feet, and a liver. After some investigation the body is recognized and it is of a mafia king, Franconi. His mafia competitors are the main suspects until the body goes missing before an autopsy can be held. Their quest to find the reason behind the missing liver takes them into dangerous jungles. Here they discover the frightening possibilities of medicine and science. The also discover the unethical experiments being carried out on humans and animals.
