Gender Pay Gap In Hollywood
This article was about the gender pay gap in Hollywood. It talked about actresses being paid less than actors. Also, how women in construction are paid women was compared to actors. Generally, women are paid seventy-seven cents for every dollar that men earn, but instead in construction it was ninety-two cents for every dollar that men earn. It was surprising to learn that even though Hollywood has a lot of money than other occupations actresses and actors are not paid equally.
Patricia Arquette’s speech about gender pay gap was mentioned, but quotes were not used. I would have liked it more if they said what she said rather than and say Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lopez was for clapping during her speech. Everyone did not listen to her speech
