Culture is something that has set people apart ever since the beginning of time. Before today's issues, involving non-binary and transgender people, there was a gender war between men and women. Men were overly superior to women and women were fighting for equality. Women are still fighting for this today. Now there is also a struggle for non-binary and transgender people. Non-binary means that people place their gender identity in a category for that is for gender identities that are not exclusively masculine or feminine. "Transgender is denoting or relating to a person whose sense of personal identity and gender does not correspond with their birth sex," (Wikipedia). Transgender and non-binary people are fighting to be better accepted into society. They want to be treated more equally in society.
