In my point of view, depending on computers is in some situations good and bad also. Now a days, small children also addicted to computer games like 3­4 years babies. But it is very useful to us to know the world about information.
In software jobs they are very important and useful but after invention of the computers a lot of members lost their jobs because the computers do their work also. In this way depending on computers is some ways good and bad.

Hi friends as I think computer has became a very essential part of our life, now without it we can't imagine ourselves, but for everything which have advantages will also have the disadvantages.
So now a days children are habituated for the computer games and all, due to which children at under the age of 6­5 are getting spectacles, so keeping many aspects in mind I think computer is the machine which is made by "us" "human", which is to be controlled by us, not by the computer.

Computer made our life advanced, sharing information became easier, it increased our exposure, storing and reviewing information became our habit. It has negative aspects too increase in eye problems decrease in physical exercise are some of those.
Recent studies show software engineers are more prone to mental illness. Finally I conclude that dependence on computer is a good thing but everything has its limits this dependence is no exception.

According to me depending on computers is a good thing only but not at all times because computers make people lazy a bit. But, on the other hand computers provide useful information to us which helps in many forms but everything has a limit. So, computers should be used in a proper way rather than using it for unwanted means. Also nowadays many mobile phones, smartphones have replaced computers and people who are using these is also increasing so any technology should be used effectively to avoid harmful impacts.

With electronic equipment we can create new things we can also create new inventions with the use of computers,
Makes our life easier, reduce work and can say everything to a person. Nowadays companies, schools, colleges, everywhere all work is done by electronic devices {computer}.
No one wants to use a pen and paper in hand when there is a better options. Electronic devices such as a computer makes children's learning process wonderful to be more precise fantabulous.
Nowadays the most important factor to our lives is time and in such a tedious parts of life all we need is such type of devices that save time. Electronic devices changes simplehumans to superhumans by teaching many unknown things, computers are also useful, common and inseparable to our kind.
I also disagree on this as most of the children of this area are mis­using electronic devices, they totally waste the time in chatting & gossiping. We can say we are taking help but not at all dependent.

But we have to know the real use of computer so that we can create new things, new invention with the use of computer. In my view. Everything should be done in limit. Whether its technology or anything. Computer is a wonderful invention in human life. It made our work easy, reduce work load and can say everything to a person. In today's life. Every company, school, colleges, everywhere all works has done with help of computer. Computers are not too dependable because it can be hackable and malfunction in any way. But most people now do depend on computers because they are useful, common, and inseparable to our kind.
Computers do help people in many ways, but they get people lazy, because it can do many things for our kind. It is usually fast, such as calculating and typing (replacing writing).
Computers do also hurt eyesight when you stalk the screen for too long (excluding a calculator I guess), especially when you do a lot of research, or when you play too much games.
You should NOT depend on computers too much BUT you should rely a bit on it.

Technology is growing and spreading its use around the world. Nowadays computer are not only a storing box, it has been upgraded and empowered with various other activities and since we really don't want to waste our time we generally switch to computers for carrying out our work.

Depending on Computers (including all computing devices) is the only way to be surview in the current trend. Computers are not making us as lazy, we want things to be done faster, so we invent a device to do that job faster. We feel good while the tasks are completed with the computers (with minimum amount of our manual work).
Your are reading this line because of this computer or any smart device, we are sharing ideas, we learn faster.
Practically computers can't be used for everything. We invent it, we test it, we believe it. Finally we are being depending on what we made to do our task.
Therefore, it is good to be depend on computers.
Note: If you want to be lazy, even though there is no computer, you will be lazy.

Computer hackers steal account numbers and transfer money through the account. Computer is relatively a remarkable invention. Ever since first PC was introduced in early 80s, every second the users are increasing. At the brighter side, computers have revolutionized the nation. There has been a tremendous decrease in manual efforts, things have been automated to a great extend, all it needs is just a click! (Sometimes not that even). Computers enable us to maintain soft copies of important documents, thereby maintaining the balance of nature. In my point of view it can be both good or bad as everything has pros and cons it also does. Computer provides us so many information and it can store data and various other things can be done. So our most of the work can be done by using computers. If you know how to use it properly you can do your most of the work from your home with your computer. But it also have cons like people get addicted to it and they are wasting there complete time on it. It is affecting every age group, let us first consider children. Nowadays children are playing computer games so they are not able to do physical activities and they are so busy in playing these games so that they are not even playing indoor and outdoor games. Same is the case with the adults they are also always busy with their computers and forgetting to do any exercises and activities so ultimately it is increasing laziness and dullness.
If the computer are used for a certain time means if the dependence is limited for important things then it will be very useful. So finally I want to say that computers are very important invention for our generation so not let us waste it. Use it properly!.

Yes it has some bad effects too like over dependence on computer can be harmful in building our mind properly because there would be a less chance of exposing ourselves to nature, natural things etc. Besides it can have an affect on our health too since there is a chance of people become lazy.
So in conclusion I'll say 'excess for anything is dangerous'. So use it only that much.

Computer has become the lifeline of modern generation.
We can chat with people away from us by just sitting at a corner of our home. We can also take courses in institutes through E­learning. World is developing faster because of computers. It also allows human to be creative in every aspect.
On the other hand, dependence on a computer has adverse effect, because it causes laziness, physical activity decreases and many more. It makes us feel work less and the power of our mind gradually decreases. We will be facing a lot of problems regarding health.

We use it to find our relationships or to make friends, start fights, look for the current information to make alliances, social groups to find information, to give information, to build, destroy, educate the list keeps getting wider as the ages pass, we rely too much on technology.
But computer users ignore the risks & problems of using computers. Computers are a threat to human health.
Computers can have effects on eyes, brain molecules & more. Computers are not only a threat to human bodies but they destroy relationships & make people lazy.
Computer users who work on the computers for extended time periods, don't have enough time for talking or connecting with society. Real communication occurs when people talk directly, from the speaker's mouth to the listener's ear. People also become lazy when they long periods of time with computers. The biggest problem is when computers stop working, people cannot function without computers because they're accustomed to using the computer.

Having read the immense and elaborate views of my friends who have shared their points in the discussion forum, I dare say that we cannot get rid of the computer use. This has become part and parcel of every man's life, I mean the educated one. As I foresee, a day will come, we will become handicap, we perhaps would not be able to do anything without it. If by chance something happens in the atmosphere or some unknown natural calamity occurs, this, then will affect the entire system of wireless communication like the Net. My question is that what will we do or the whole world do at that time if all the computers fail functioning. Has man ever thought of it, Yes, of course our progress will be 'stand still'. It is better, we start thinking for the future, to solve the enigmatic problem.

Well I don't think that dependence on computers is a good thing.
First of all it has made people lethargic. Other factors include that if you sit in front of PCs for too long it affects your eyesight. Also, each work comes to a halt if light goes off or there is some defect with the machine. It can also cause some serious problems if it is malfunctioning.
I can't deny the positive effects of computer but everything in this world needs a limit & in present scenario people are so much addicted to it that they can't live a day without it, which is really dangerous. So in the end I would like to conclude by saying that too much dependence on anything is dangerous & must be resolved as soon as possible.

Hi friends, in my opinion dependence on computers is not good or bad rather computers have become one of the basic essential needs of human beings. I like to support this statement with the following facts:.
1. 3, 50, 000 people joins internet everyday in the world.
2. More than four websites are launched every second.
3. Around 1980 there were only 50, 000 computers world wide, today nearly 50, 000 computers are being sold each and everyday worldwide.
4. Computer has become the respiration of the entire market i.e. there is no company/ business/organisation in the world today that do not have their own I.T department etc.
5. There are 900 million to one billion computers users in the world and the number is increasing each and everyday.
6. 20,000,000 people in India use internet everyday.
These few facts are just a highlight of the importance of computers in our daily life.
I do not think there is any field exists today in which computers have become obsolete. I am 100% sure that all those who are reading this post will have a account on facebook or at least a email id.
Also I like to clear this that I am not negating the consequences of addiction to computer/internet but I believe that "

I think that we can depend on the computer for certain things like the sending of messages, controlling trains etc. If we can use no drivers to control vehicles, then trains can have a less chance of crashing because they will follow a route that is setted. Anyway, without a need for humans for these things, we can use manpower for a better purpose like building buildings, fixing the computers etc that computers cannot do. The need for humans to reproduce more will also decrease.
We can also save time by sending messages faster, look for information faster etc. This way, when an important message needs to be sent, it can immediately reach the other end of the world.
Sadly, messages can be intercepted on the computer like in real life. So since they can be intercepted, there is no change in the safety of the message. But this time, if a message has reached the other end, it still can be stolen if someone hacks into your account. Even worse, if someone hacks into your account, the person can send false messages about you and ruin your reputation.
But if we use the computers for things things like playing only, then that will be wrong. We can play the games on the computer when we are free but not all the time. If we do, then we might get addicted and the main purpose of the computer would be defeated.
Hence, the dependence on the computer can be good or bad depending on the way it is used.

Dependence on anything is bad but the facilities we get by computer is fabulous because it can done complex and complex things in few seconds with greater accuracy. And it can store our data for long time in good condition so that we can use it again when we need it which is generally not possible and now computer replaces a sorts of files in single box.

No,Always Dependency on computer is not good for us there are various disadvantages from it for us,such as the completely computer dependent person can't add the 5 digit numbers without the calculator or computer. Many can't write one page on a topic without searching the topic on net.
Children always uses the computers for their homework.
There are so many such types of problems is present in computer dependents.

Business and lots of software companies do depend on it. But we should not become so lazy that we stick on it. The stuff which is available on the next street/ mall should not bought using the credit card sitting in front of the computer/using ebay.in. If we completely keep on depending on it, then, there will be a day where we will searching in GOOGLE, even for the simple stick to beat the rat.

Ya its a good thing if we reached to a certain level we should depend. Because we can perform any kind of task much faster by using computer. We can perform operations very accurately even presentation style makes you to read interestingly in computer. We can know about the things that are going in every corner of the world this increases our general knowledge skill. Computer will do whatever you asked in correct. It means computer is actually depends on you for informaton after that, you depended on computer for results. Here what I want to say, we are not depending just we are taking support for what you want to do.
