Video Games and Gaming Technology Improvements

Since the 1990‘s, technology is rapidly improving around the world. From televisions to cellphones, these improvements are very beneficial in today’s society. One major improvement is gaming technology. The most popular games in the 90's consists of the Playstation, Sega Genesis, and the Nintendo 64;however, these games are fifth generation consoles and in today’s world, gaming technology is processing an eighth generation. Graphics, controllers, and even the games are much better then those in the 1990's. Although video games from the 1990‘s and in todays world are very enjoyable, today’s video games are much more realistic and the technology is much more improved. One major improvement in gaming technology is the graphics. Video games in the 1990‘s are in two-dimensional picture and are not too detailed. Characters from 1990 video games did still look very good. Similarly, characters in today’s video games look good as well. Many of the characters from the 90‘s games almost look the same, with little change, as today’s games. Therefore, the graphics in today’s video games are far better than those in the 90‘s games making current video games much more realistic. Another major improvement in gaming technology is the controllers for the consoles. Video game controllers now use more buttons and analog sticks than those of the fifth generation console controllers. Controllers in the 90‘s relys only on a few buttons and either an analog stick or just a ‘D-pad’. Conversely,
