Others say it is a smart investment and the money can eventually be repaid through the education you receive. College is a valuable experience, despite the incurring debt, because a college degree will lead to more money, you’re more likely to find a job, and college graduates are able to explore many career options.
Although it used to be easy to find a job with just a GED, more and more jobs are beginning to require college degrees for their employees. This point of view makes sense because some people may not be able afford it. However, you will be able it pay it back when you make a career out of the degree you earned. College students are able to explore career options. Colleges offer career services, internships, job fairs, and work study. Colleges also have a wide variety of courses that will lead up to your career desired. Going to college will also almost guarantee you a job because 80% of college graduates have completed an internship before they finished college (college-education.procon.org).
College is a beneficial life experience because you will get more money, easily find a job, and college graduates are able to explore different careers that will make them happy in the end. Although there is incurring debt, it will pay off in the long run. Our society has created the standard that students who go to college will go further in life, and it is true.
