* Overwhelming evidence proves something is more than “theory” * Theory is not a dreamy and unreliable speculation it is an explanatory statement that fits the evidence * A large percent (45 in a 2001 poll) believe god created humans in their present form at one time within the last 10,000 years or so * Only 12 percent believe got played no role in human formation * “So much for one part of the evolutionary process, known as anagenesis, during which a single species is transformed. But there's also a second part, known as speciation. Genetic changes sometimes accumulate within an isolated segment of a species, but not throughout the whole, as that isolated population adapts to its local conditions. Gradually it goes its own way, seizing a new ecological niche.” – David Quammen * Explains the overall diversity of life as well as the adaptation of individual species * Wallace and Darwin worked together to come up with ideas such as natural selection and evolution * Evidence by Darwin was presented in 4 categories Biogeography, paleontology, embryology, and morphology * Biogeography offered facts and patters associated with the mysterious clustering pattern among closely allied species * Paleontology reveals a similar clustering pattern in the dimension of time, one species exist in an area for millions of years but in time, disappears and a very similar species replaces it * Embryology is the idea that the embryo is the animal in its less modified state and that state reveals the structure of its progenitor * Morphology is the sorting of creatures into a hierarchy of categories based on which anatomical characters they share * However Darwin was wrong on several theories such as variation, geologic mystery, and most notably his theory of inheritance known as pangenesis * Human Biology by Proxy is the study between human genes and other genes that correlate (mice) and this is key

    Biologists over the years have observed that some species evolve in response to the changes in another. These changes can occur in different levels and in different intensities.
