Furry Fandom Culture Analysis
There is a specified language in the furry fandom culture and that is body language. When furries are attending conventions, they are highly photogenic and are automatically making various gestures such as the posture, specific movements and act like their character that will attract photographers to get their picture taken. Although getting their picture taken by other photographers, it brings the idea of competition to one another and “who wore it better”. This idea has brought controversy in conventions, but in present day it has brought into attention that it is not a competition, but a place to express one’s character and to enjoy everyone’s presence and spread happiness amongst one another.
