• We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this

DEMOCRACY
• Many types of government can fall under the category of a Democracy
• A government that can be held accountable by the people qualifies as a democracy
• At direct or true democracy would be very difficult to manage so often times representative democracies exist.
• Republic
• Constitutional Monarchy
• Parliamentary Democracy

FREEDOM
• Does Democracy = Freedom????
• If freedom is being able to live your life the way you want to live it, then many things besides government restrictions can stand in your way.
