Question 1
You recently bought a toaster which came with a 12 month guarantee. After 9 months the product became faulty so you took it back to the shop. They provided you with a new toaster and informed you that this replacement product would only be guaranteed for the remaining 3 months of the initial guarantee period.
You complained and asked for a new full 12 month guarantee but the staff member said they could not do that and advised you to write to the Store Manager.
Your task: is to write a letter of complaint to Hannah Barrett, Store Manager, Toasties, 25
Drame Road, Gresmond, Yorkshire, YS3 9UJ.

In your letter you must expand upon the following points:







the product you bought and the fault why you chose that shop to buy the product from the problem with the shop’s guarantee policy what you think the guarantee policy should be what you want the shop to do asking for a response.
