In the book The Pigman John and Loraine are best friends and just by playing a game and make a phone call they both find there new best friend Mr. Pigman. A significant theme in The Pigman is friendship. Friendship brings happiness and joy to someone's life. When you find someone that gives you happiness and joy you truly have a good friendship. You can be friends with anything, in the book John and Loraine are best friends and they have been for two years, that's when Loraine moved to the block where John lives.
