All these classifications for teachers are based on some typical personality traits of the teachers. Your essay should consist of an interesting introduction that interests the reader and leads to your classification. You will most likely want to set the scene in the first paragraph or two. Make sure that your topic is relevant to others. You want your reader to relate to what you say and think, “That is SO true.” The essay should have a thesis that makes a general comment about the subject. This comment should communicate a meaningful theme. For example, in the paper about the dysfunctional people in the pharmacy, the writer’s thesis is that most people are not at their best when at the pharmacy because they are vulnerable—either they feel bad, or someone they care for is feeling bad. A POOR thesis simply says, “There are lots of different kinds of _________________”.
