Fracgeo Summer Internship Interview Essay
I very much appreciate the time and opportunity to meet me for FracGeo summer internship interview. It was a good interview as I could learn from a fellow petroleum engineering department alumni that is now working in the sector that I am very interested in. I enjoyed the conversation and looking forward to the opportunity of working in FracGeo during this summer.
As you already know, the education in Colorado School of Mines has helped me to be a hardworking and smart individual given the amount of work and resources that is assigned. My experiences in pushing myself to the limit that now give me the benefits of being younger than most of my peers have taught me an idea that I will never know what my full potential is until I am putting myself

Columbus County has become my home for the past three years. During my exploration of Columbus County I chose to ask Michael Brown, Mark Howard, Christina Perdue; MD, Dr. Kevin Bratton; Ph.D., and Addie Mae Haley. I thought it would be interesting to get the opinions of five people with different occupations, and experiences in life. Michael Brown is a Southeastern Community College student, his major is Education, geared towards a history profession. I received his thoughts during an interview at Southeastern on February 5th. Mark Howard is a Shift Manager at McDonalds here in Whiteville, as well as a retired Army Soldier. I was able to talk to him face to face during one of his breaks on January 29. Christina Perdue; MD, is my family’s doctor here in Whiteville at Southeast Primary Care. Dr. Perdue is always very busy so I spoke to her via telephone for her opinion on February 17th. Kevin Bratton; PhD, is one of our deans here at Southeastern Community College, and an awesome instructor. Dr. Bratton responded to my email on January 31st. And finally, the best for last, Addie Mae Haley, she worked in Blueberry and Tobacco fields when she was young, and after she was married she became a domesticated house wife. Mrs. Haley’s my oldest interviewee, at the great age of 85, and was born and raised in Columbus County. I was able to interview her face to face on January 20th. All five of these Columbus County residents gave me a great outlook on what they all though was important to…

I have heard recent news of Erik Davis leaving the TC Teens ministry. I know he is missed. He did an amazing job with the service he performed at TC, and it was a privilege serving under him. Erik was awesome about reaching out to members of the church to have the opportunity to serve Christ's youth in TC Teens. Erik and Ally made me feel so welcome while serving in this ministry and I have longed for it ever since I left the Charlotte area this fall. While serving in Teens, Erik granted me the chance to not only serve with the 6th grade girls, but plan activities and icebreakers for all of the teens, help with events and servant leader functions. He saw my passion and potential within the sixth grade girls small group and the way I helped facilitate the group with ways to break down the week's sermon or lesson to a "easier" and more relate-able interpretation for…

This experience taught me numerous new things that shaped who I was and altered the way I returned to my community, Los Angeles. The most important thing I learned at this internship was the ability to “fit into” this new way of life. While studying abroad, I believe that this skill I gained from my internship will allow me accommodate and adapt easily to the new culture. I also learned from this internship how to properly communicate with new people in general, but also with people who may not be familiar with my own culture and lifestyle. This new skill will also allow me to communicate and connect with other students while abroad by expressing an interest in who they are. I will also be able to grow a connection with my peers by showing them a bit of my culture and help them learn a new way of life.…
