Your pets probably understand you more than you ever thought. They are great listeners that can recognize and understand your emotions. All of the sources support their claim, but, The quick brown (and domesticated) fox jumps over the lazy dog, does the most effective and strongest job at supporting the claim.

The article did not do the most effective job. In the text, the author shares details of an experiment led by Attila Andics and other scientists about how dogs processed words. The text states, “Dogs have a ‘rewards center,’ which is stimulated by pleasant things such as petting and food. The dogs' reward centers bounced excitedly when positive words were spoken in a positive tone.”(paragraph 7). This shows that the source has validity because the information is taken from an experiment and experts. This does not make the source as effective as the first source because the author does not use many signposts to get the point across. The author also includes quoted words. Researcher Attila Andics from Eötvös Loránd University was interviewed about his studies. He said, “‘It shows that for dogs, a nice praise can very well work as a reward,... dogs not only tell apart what we say and how we say it, but they can also combine the two..."(paragraph 8). This is an example of quoted words. This shows the reader that they are getting valid facts on the topic. The audience was given insight by the expert. This supported their claim but this was not as strong as the first source because it does not include multiple sources or
