Although Jesus is probably the best known person from the Bible, I believe that Paul is the founder of Christianity. While most scholars believe Jesus was a real person, there is no physical evidence he lived and without actual evidence of someones existence, I think it is questionable to consider someone the founder of a religion without proof of them ever living. Without Paul we would have a reformed Judaism, but not Christianity (Orlando), I think this is very true because many of the ideas of Christianity were founded by Paul and not Jesus. Paul's letters helped write the Christian Doctorine of original sin in the second century (11-5). Paul's belief that Jesus died for our sins is arguably one of the most important parts of Christianity
