Foundations of Criminal Justice Systems
My next class is Foundations of Criminal Justice Systems. I am pursuing my Bachelors in Criminal Justice. I am looking forward to completing this goal in my life and continuing on to my Masters. Being a mother to a three year old little boy and more than half way through another pregnancy with a little girl, my schedule is already very busy. Which brings me into what I believe will be the important concepts in my future courses. One being time management. Time management is a hit and miss for me. Sometimes I feel as though I have my whole schedule planned out to an exact time. Then something happens and bumps my timing all out of place. So as a challenge time management and I will become friends sometime and hopefully soon! A second one is working in groups. Working in groups is a great experience to have. It can be challenging at times but if you all stick together and work as a team, it can be a great experience. The last concept that will be important is live chats. I think as long as you have time management and can visit the live chats or the archives, I will be able to make the best out of the assignments that come my way. I think having the access to the library, learning labs and learning paths I am going to be able to complete my assignments with accredited information. I will continue using these resources that are available to me because when I don’t fully understand an assignment and the learning labs and paths are available, I am sure after reviewing on there, I can get a better understanding with the assignment. If my next class has group projects, I think I am better prepared in how the process can go and how to handle certain situations due to what I have learned in this class. Group projects are all based on how well you can click and work together in a group. I think the best advice I can give to anyone whether coming in this class or another class is always have an open mind and push yourself to do your best. Take the professors
