Dear Sir,
I have recently purchased a hamster from your pet shop. As hamsters are night animals, I had every reason to believe that the hamster was sleeping. However, when I arrived at home, I saw no signs of life in the animal. I went to check on the hamster, and found out that it was not breathing at all.
The hamster was a present to my children, and I hope you can imagine how devastated they are. The poor service I received from one of your workers has shocked me. When I went back to the shop to explain the situation, this worker did not believe me when I told the employee that I had purchased a dead hamster. He rather accused me of killing the hamster and said that its death was result of bad handling and animal abuse. The hamster was purchased only 5 hours earlier the same day, so this would not be the case.
I will not accept this kind of service, as I know without a doubt that the hamster was already dead when I purchased it. To resolve the problem I would like a refund for the hamster, and also an apology from your employee for his bad service. If not, I have no other choice than to take this case further to the customer service department.
I hope you take my complaint into consideration, and I would like to get a response as soon as possible.
