BERNOULLI’S THEOREM
DEMONSTRATION
MODEL: FM 24

HIS Bernoulli’s Theorem Demonstration (Model: FM 24) apparatus consists of a classical Venturi made of clear acrylic. A series of wall tappings allow measurement of the static pressure distribution along the converging duct, while a total head tube is provided to traverse along the centre line of the test section. These tappings are connected to a manometer bank incorporating a manifold with air bleed valve.

T

This unit has been designed to be used with a
Hydraulics Bench for students to study the characteristics of flow through both converging and diverging sections. During the experiment, water is fed through a hose connector and students may control the flowrate of the water by adjusting a flow regulator valve at the outlet of the test section.
The venturi can be demonstrated as a means of flow measurement and the discharge coefficient can be determined. This test section can be used to demonstrate those circumstances to which Bernoulli’s Theorem may be applied as well as in other circumstances where the theorem is not sufficient to describe the fluid behaviour.

EXPERIMENTAL CAPABILITIES
♦ Bernoulli’s Theorem and its limitations
♦ Measurements of the static and total head distribution along a Venturi tube
♦ Meter coefficient at various flow rates

The lymphatic system can also be known as the immune system. White blood cells are located near places where there could be pathogens entering, such as the tonsils. They are found in these places because they protect entry into the body. If pathogens do try to enter then the white blood cells will become activated and will attack the area of infection. They become activated when the dendritic cell engulfs neutrophils which contain the remains of pathogens that they have killed. The dendritic cells travel in lymph to the lymph nodes where it is chemically directed to co-operate with T helper cells that have receptors that are able to recognise proteins from…

Aggression is a difficult behaviour to predict but also it is often hard to control. It comes in many physical, verbal and non-verbal forms. Physical aggression can appear from as little as slapping/ hitting a person to firing a gun at someone. Verbal aggression can be someone screaming or using abusive/racist language and non-verbal can include things like using offensive gestures or invading an individual’s personal space. A person may express this kind of behaviour if they are either distressed or if they want to communicate an unmet need. It is classified in 2 groups:…
