believe this movie shows everyday struggles many people could relate to, since in life there is hardship, happiness, racism and death. These are all things we unfortunalty can’t avoid and are just a part of life. This movie shows us realistic situations that involve these different situations of life.
“Crash” tells interlocking stories of whites, blacks, Latinos, Koreans, Iranians, cops and criminals, the rich and the poor, the powerful and powerless, all defined in one way or another by racism. All are victims of it, and all are guilty of it.
The movie Crash is filled with prejudice and discrimination based on the character's races and ethnicities. Everyone in the movie had a predisposed prejudice towards people of opposite races.
The movie is basically an eye-opener for those of us who do not notice our prejudices. The movie even included a form of positive prejudices, where they did not want the African American police officer to seem like a bad influence on the black neighborhood, so they decided to cover it up. With attitudes like the ones that were portrayed in the movie, no race is safe from discriminations. This movie also makes me wonder what people think about me as I walk around campus or when I am at work. I am an African American female and I don't want anyone to have a selective perception of me
