Introduction
Before I picked this course if you want to know what my five years’ career plan is, I would like to say I don’t have any plan for it. After learning this course for couple weeks, I realize that make a plan is important for people’s lives. My family has our own business and it is common in china that father will pass business to his children. Because of the situation, my career goal is focus on keeping the family business and trying my best to improve it. The business in my family is industry and my job is going to administrate the employees.
The promotional opportunity In present society, almost all the business are structured by a group. The basic skill in the group is communication. Of course there are many different kinds of communication, the communication between workmates and boss are not the same. I have never worked before so it is a challenge for me; I should learn how to communicate at the first time.
“A manager’s role is to provide proper oversight and direction to a group that is trying to accomplish a certain task” (Olson, Jon, 2006, PG 18). My career goal is to be a manager; another important thing is to learn how to manage people. However, no one knows how to manage people in the right way. Even with a lot of experience it also impossible to be a good administer. I think the best way for me to learn management is work in a big company and you have chance to touch the good management. This is also an important step in my five years’ plan.
My current skills I majored international trade and economy in my university, it is related to the business. The most important thing is that I have a lot of friends who understand business very well during my university time. We still keep contact with each other after graduated from school. Some of them are
