Fitness Analysis Luckily, the time I had between ninth grade and tenth grade phy-ed was summer break. Because I was busy most of the summer, I stayed active enough to not regress much in each fitness test. The improvement that occurred for my fitness tests happened because of my choices, and the scores helped me form goals for when phy-ed is done. I improved my fitness test scores by making certain choices. One test that I improved on was the push-up test. On the ninth grade baseline test for push-ups, I did twenty-eight push-ups, and for the posttest, I got thirty-seven push-ups. Then, I regressed on the tenth grade baseline test and got thirty push-ups, but improved to forty-two push-ups for the post-test. The improvement on the tests like the push-up test occurred because of my choices. …show more content…
After ninth grad phy-ed ended, it was summer break, so I was very busy with marching band and boy scouts. The Boy Scout troop that I was in went on bike rides, camping trips, and hiking trips. There were many times when I was not busy my friends and I biked, ran occasionally, and played games such as kickball and soccer. Finally, the rest of the improvement mainly happened when going through tenth grade phy-ed. The exercise I did also work with personal choices I made to improve my fitness test scores. Two personal choices that I made to improve my test scores were my attitude and my nutrition. The attitude towards wanting to improve was straightforward. I just had to say I would like to not sit around all day, and I would like to continue to eat healthy. Eating healthy is also straightforward because you just need to limit the junk food that you eat, and mainly eat a variety of foods out of all of the food groups.
