First TIme I Snuck Out
First Time I Snuck Out of the House
My parents were strict with us kids at home. I was adopted into my family with three older siblings. I felt I got the brunt of everything when it came to the rules of the house. All of us children had chores that had to be finished before we were allowed to play with our friends. If my parents found out I listened to anything other than the Christian radio station, my parents took my radio away. My parents dragged us to church three days a week. I felt as though I was supervised more than my other siblings were. My other siblings were allowed to stay out late and go places whenever they asked. I wanted to be able to have the same freedom my 17 year old brothers had, only at the age of 14. So, one night, my best friend and I decided to sneak out of the house. I would never forgot that night.
Dad was in charge of watching us kids while mom was out of town for the weekend. My brothers and sister were staying the night at other friends’ houses, this was the best time to have my best friend Ashley stay the night, we would have the whole downstairs to ourselves without anyone to bother us. Dad gave me permission to have Ashley stay the night. Without delay, I called and invited Ashley over for the night. We were bound to have a fun time together; just like we usually did when we spent time together. Except this night was different, we were going to sneak out of the house. Would my Dad hear us? Could we get out of the house without the dogs barking and waking up Dad? It would be the first time I had ever tried sneaking out. Could we get away with it? If my parents found out, I might not ever be able to have a friend stay the night ever again!
It was a brisk August night, and Dad had already gone to bed for the night, Just after midnight, Ashley and I put on our sweaters to prepare to leave the house and go for a walk. Trying not to make a sound, I slowly opened the old wooden window that led to the outside of the house. We quietly

The story started when one night I snuck out of my house to go to a party, as a result, that night I slept over at a friend’s house and found a ride home the next morning. When the car pulled into the driveway the morning after, I thanked the driver and walked up to my front porch with a sly smile to greet my obviously frustrated parents. As my mom ushered me to sit down on one of the chairs on our front porch, I know that nothing good is going to…

A chilling breath of wind assaulted her deadened cheeks for it was a rough night and the stars had cowardly hid away behind the dull, mute clouds. The predatory moon, bright and full; crept behind the cloudy sky stalking me as prey. Her voiceless shadow stumbled drunkenly as she battled through the hawkish rain to find shelter for the night. Her car had broken down a mile or so back. It had been hours since the sunlight faded to dark; hours since she'd been stranded in this deserted place. She was miles away from her home, she was very frightened. She just stood there, crying; wishing someone could help when, suddenly, a small old lady seemed to appear from no-where. She was extremely short with long, obsidian hair and a narrow, cadaverous face. "Please help me," the young girl begged, her teeth chattering loudly.…

I was dazzled and confused on what reason my parents had to say know. Truth was that at the moment , I didn’t care much about my parent’s ruling and opinion. I was going to break the rules and run anyway; yet another problem confronted me. The only time I could run without my parents was from 6 to 6:45, which was two hours earlier than I intended to do originally. Yet besides this determination was the only thing on my mind; so, I set my alarm for 5:55, put my phone to charge, and went to sleep with the face of a champion. BEEP BEEP BEEP. I grabbed my phone and snoozed the alarm before anyone else in the house heard it and woke up. I got out of bed, changed my clothes, and went down the stairs with the skill and grace of a trained ninja. Only one part left, the squeaky door. I eyed and stared it down, threatening it with my mind; after a few hopes and threats, the door opened without a noise and I closed it behind me. After the door closed, I looked outside, took a deep breath, and…

She spoke softly with shaken breaths “Thank you for letting me in, I have been walking through the forest for hours.”…

As I sat there, playing, the door suddenly banged open. My mom stood there anxiously with fear in her chocolaty eyes. I knew something tragic had occurred for she never came home early. She grabbed my forearms and pulled me up with a jolt and snatched a plastic bag from the corner and stuffed what little clothes and toys I had in it. My own brown eyes were filled with tears, but I didn’t let them fall. She dragged me along as she moved and on her way out, she shut the door with a thunderous bang. Who would have thought that that was the last day I would ever see that little one room garage house again.…

A cool wind began to blow, causing the leaves to rustle and the curtains to flap madly. I waved goodbye as my parents entered their car to go to their friend’s wedding. Shivering, I quickly entered the house and carried on watching my program until the lights flickered and went off. The television went crazy and went off too. Telling myself that it was just a blackout, I started to think where candles or torchlights could be found at and remembered my mother telling me there was some candles and matches in the kitchen at second cabinet.…
