Michael Isaacson 3-17-14 Finding True Love

It is always amazing the way one can find their soulmate, I didn't see it coming when I met mine. I first met the love of my life Kellie, at my brother-in-laws place of employment, she was his assistant. I again met her after my brother-in-law quit and found a job elsewhere, he invited her to meet us at Honest Pint because they didn't want to lose touch of eachother. If I was told four years ago about everything that would happen and how completely I would be in love with someone I would not have belived a word of it. The first time I met Kellie was at Hot Topic where she and my bother-in-law worked together. When we first met neither of us thought anything special of one another. I had even told my brother-in-law that she seemed stuck up and she later told me that from that first meething she thought I was just a dumb redneck. At that time we were both married to our exs as well. Almost a year later I was granted a divorce from my ex-wife due to the extreme issues that existed in the marriage. My sister and brother-in-law then moved into my house because they were having fiancial troubles, my home was way too large for just myself anyways. Out of boredom, one night we decided to get out and do something different, that night would change my life forever. My brother-in-law invited Kellie to come to Honest Pint with us one night so they wouldnt lose touch with eachother because he at the time held a different job with another employer. When he texted her she had just finished playing a game on the xbox 360 and was in the process of getting pajamas on. At that time she figured that if she didnt go this time she may loose touch of her friends completely. She met us at Honest Pint that night and we played darts and pool for hours. Since it was late in the night and she would have a long drive home,

As a result, I was adopted on Michigan's adoption day, which always takes…

When my cousin from California came to Michigan for a party she came to my house on her last night in Michigan. She came over to watch a movie with us and sleepover. While watching the movie I sat next to her. After the movie we went upstairs and all slept in one bed. We were talking and my mom and dad told us either we sleep or quiet down. After that we took out her phone and started to text in her phone and pass it around so we could all read it.…

Students, APA formatting is not required, however, you are required to substantiate your responses and opinions with laws, cases, statutes, codes, regulations or anything else that gives credibility to your answers. Remember, this is a legal class. Also, remember to state issues, integrate facts, discuss both sides of an issue, thoroughly analyze each question in detail, and lastly, conclude, based upon your legal findings and premise. You can have more than one conclusion as long as you argue both sides of an issue. You don’t need one absolute conclusion. The most important thing in law would be your ability to see both sides, argue them, and present alternative conclusions based upon these factors.…

My parents after what seemed to be a happy sixteen year marriage had agreed to get a divorce. This is my opinion is the reason I have became the person I am to this day. Growing up in a household with a single parent made my life very challenge because from a young age I was taught to be very independent and do stuff for myself. The thing that kept me going was the mini weekend vacations I got to take on the weekends when I went to my dad’s house. Those my parents did not get along they still acted very civil at events and around me to make sure I was always happy in a situation known to now have very many aspects of joy. Growing up knowing that I could go about my day and not have to rely on anyone but myself made me a lot more confident in my abilities even to this day. My parents did an amazing role in providing me with everything i could ever need but many day to day challenges I had to attempted and devise new ways to conquer. A divorce between two parents always has a negative connotation but in my opinion it made me the person I am today and I am very thankful for…

A big event that has changed my life was when my older brother moved away to go to the navy. This changed my life cause I did not know if I was ever going to see him again. When he told me he was leaving and not going to be back for awhile i thought he was leaving because of me, I was a little brat back then so yeah and at the age i was i thought everything was my fault. The day my brother left was probably the saddest thing to ever happen because me and him would always hang out and play video games or walk around town or do something fun. I remember when we dropped him off at the airport i was clinched on to his leg and i was refusing to let go because I didn’t want him to leave. Now that i look back on it i think one of the reasons why i didn’t want him to leave is because he was kinda like my best friend/ role model so yeah and well he is my older brother and I didn’t want anything to happen to him.…

I remember the day clearer than any other. I was in 5th grade. My mom sat me down and told me my father would be living in another home. They called it “temporary.” “It will end” “It is not divorce”, they said. This, age nine, is when the constant packing, unpacking and swapping from house to house began. This lasted about a year until my Dad moved back in. We were whole, again. That was the happiest month I can really remember. Having two parents say goodnight to me, not having to repeat each story twice, and meals with someone at each head of the table. Everything was perfect. Until we decided to all go out to a family dinner. At this dinner my parents dropped one word.…

During the summer of last year I worked at an ice cream shop named Cold Stone Creamery nearby where I live. I made a few good friends there and one of which was a girl named Molly. She had been working at that particular shop for almost 2 years. Her ice cream mixing skills were impeccable and no one was able to make a faster batch of ice cream cakes than she could. She was extremely kind but a little quiet and it was often difficult for her to express herself because she was always so worried she would offend someone. Regardless, she got along with everyone in the store.…

The Degree in which I changed my life We all know that change is scary, and for some of us, almost impossible. The fear of the unknown is at times all together overwhelming. However, change happens everyday, even if we don't recognize it, change is happening around us, all the time. I chose to welcome change into my life, I had to, or I was going to lose the most important people in my life, my children. Approximately two years ago, my world came crashing down on me like a wall of bricks. In one day I had lost my fiance', my children, my job, my home and my car. My ex-husband had made false alligations and by the time it was all said and done, all I had left was the family dog. That dog became my best friend that day! It would have been easy for me to fall into a deep depression and give up, but it just wasn't in me to do that!…
