The Final Battle of Armageddon will take place in the Valley of Megiddo. This place is in Israel, and has been prophesied of. The battle will happen after the Tribulation, at the second coming of Jesus Christ, when Christ will come to establish His Kingdom on earth. Chapters 14, 16, 17 and 19 of Revelation describe Armageddon as a place of great slaughter. Christ will come into the Battle of Armageddon with all of His wrath and glory following Him. Jesus will judge in righteousness with the sword, and He will deliver Israel from destruction by the Antichrist. Israel will be given the right to exist in the land that was promised to Abraham. This has been proposed by Netanyahu, but no decision has been officially made. There will be a war break out in the vicinity of the Euphrates river. The hostilities in this area will continue to increase with Al Qaeda and Hezbollah presence.
