Final Assessment: Guardian-Protector (EST), Guardian
When I began my process on Keirsey temperament sorter, I got my final assessment back officially saying that I am a guardian which means that there are four kinds of different guards. Guardian-Supervisor (EST), Guardian-Inspector (ISTJ), Guardian-Provider (ESFJ), and finally Guardian-Protector (ISFJ).
Guardians are the cornerstone of society, which means for the temperament given they are to serve and preserving our most important social institutions. Guardians have the most natural talent in managing goods and services. Guardians can go from supervision to maintenance and supply. Guardians take pride in being dependable and trustworthy; if there’s a job to be done, they can be counted on to put their shoulder to the wheel. Sometimes guardians worry that respect for authority, even fundamental sense of what right and wrong is, tend to be lost. Out of all the temperament subgroups for a guardian I feel as if the guardian-protector fits me best. Protectors find great satisfaction in assisting the downtrodden, and can deal with disability and neediness in others better than any other type. Which from my major stand point and career it associates with me wanting to become physician assistant. A physician assistant has a more precise definition as it applies to the mid-level practitioner who is able to practice medicine under the auspices of a licensed physician. Guardian-protectors reserve ought really to be seen as an expression of their sincerity and seriousness of purpose. The most diligent of all the types, protectors are willing to work long, hard hours quietly doing all the thankless jobs that others manage to avoid, which fits perfect for me wanting to become a physician
