Film's Interpretation Of Genesis 6-9
The movie’s interpretation of Genesis 6-9 followed a “gnostic mysticism” approach rather having its imagery and references based on Christian mythology. The movie was not a valid interpretation because it’s interpretation came across as a fantasy and action movie that depicts one man’s arduous epic of being God’s hand by cleansing the world of all the evil in the world whilst being a father figure in his family. The movie unnecessarily had characters that were never actually mentioned in the Bible such as “The Watchers”. These fallen angel stone monster didn’t have a place in the original written version and are entirely irrelevant to telling the theme of the story.
