Film Analysis: We Were Soldiers
The Title We all like to take a time out and sit down with our loved ones, and watch a heart touching movie every once in a while. What we don't do is actually take time to really focus and understand completely what the point of the movie is or what it is trying to get across to the audience. I was able to take time and sit down, and enjoy and evaluate the movie, "We Were Soldiers." I was able to come to the conclusion that it is a very accurate movie, give or take a few facts. The quality of the cinematography is of great value. The film was indeed satisfying. The movie was released in 2002. It was one of the most seen movies of that year. It won the ASCAP award and was nominated for three different awards. To be nominated is a privilege in itself. That means it was good enough to win but there was another that was superior

The mood of this motion picture, including the heavy sense of loss when a soldier is down, is set by the music also. The producers uses familiar techniques, such as deep shots and light techniques in addition to also set the mood. I ended up picking up this film by process of elimination, overall I am happy with the outcome. It was a very heartfelt movie, and I really enjoyed it. Writing the paper about the movie .not so heart touching J. It made me feel like more people should care about our country and its well being, and that we should really value our lives and our freedom much more. The tragic truth is, most of us will never know how war is like, unless we were there. This film gives is the closest reality possible, without leaving the soil of the USA. I would most identify myself with Mel Gibson's character Lieutenant Colonel Hal Moore. He plays the leader in battle, similar to a father of every single soldier he was leading. I identify myself with him mainly because I'm so sexy and attractive like him
