Social Limitations
The social limitations African Americans faced after the civil war were suppose to have equal treatment and voting rights to African Americans. But this did not work out as planned. State Officials passed laws against African Americans which undermined the constitutional amendments. They were still labeled as a cheap labor force for farms. Black Codes which was passed shortly after the Civil War ended made it illegal for African Americans to vote and also carry weapons on them. They could not serve on juries and could not marry whites or travel without being issued a permit.
Political Limitations
The political limitations African Americans faced after the civil war were that the Africans felt that the government was turning their backs on them once again. The supreme court did nothing to help the obstacles the African Americans faced daily. They started to become more segregated from the white society’s. Many southern states than began to make segregation laws for their states. Then Africans then had to go to different schools, hospitals and also parks. These new laws were called the Jim Crow laws who darkened his face and gave Africans a bad stereotype.
Economic Limitations
The economic limitations African Americans were very much limited. The countries that were deprived of cotton began to grow its own and by the time it started to resume the prices were cut in half and no really need to buy if they grew their own. A panic with banks led to them being closed. Their was little choice for the African Americans. Credit also became very hard to get.

It was like they were being treated like slaves again. If a black man or woman quit their job before the contract ended, they would not receive pay. Many white southerners threatened blacks with firearms on the last day of their entitled jobs, meaning they “left” or “quit” their job. I do agree with keeerthi there may have been many gr8 people who have reached 2 heights and that 2 without the support of family....................but in my opinion what is the use of going to such a height where u r no longer able to see near and dear one's around.... man is a social animal and we can't live alone and further sacrificing family n going 2 top doesn't serve purpose. We may reach to top but what will be the use of that thing when there’ll be none around...the path of balancing is defiantly not smooth but then we can always spare some time for our family can't we?
